This strip can wander a bit aimlessly at times, but this particular one is a real highlight IMO. Not just because of the sex angle, but because of the building tension and the way the narrative suddenly shifts in to the Captain's inner voice.
Interesting. I could see that working either way in the short term, but IMO when you decided to add her thoughts, it gave us more "story hooks." I.e., more of the Captain's internal motivations, and more reasons to care and be drawn in. If that makes sense.
